Over the past few decades, large-format theaters emerged as a popular attraction at museums and other destination locations around the world. While these theaters provided a unique visitor experience worthy of a premium ticket, they also traditionally commanded a significant capital investment and onerous operating cost, as well as necessitated a massive footprint.
